Résumé
Laurel Kendall re-creates in this innovative work the experiences, visions, and misadventures of a Korean shaman, recording them in a manner that captures the drama and playful humor of the original telling. The shaman's tales are engrossing in thei own right, but they become part of an even richer fabric as Kendall interweaves them with poignant and perceptive descriptions of the encounter between anthropologist and informant.
